2023 Study: Discovering Our Dignity

Join us for a study on the women of the Old and New Testaments. These women were as flawed and broken as we can be, yet the power of God worked in their lives. Discovering Our Dignity will allow you to learn from their experiences and uncover ways to deal with unwanted circumstances and deferred hopes.

Learn how God worked in the lives of Biblical women:
  • Sisters Leah and Rachel overcame jealousy when they learned that God offered all that they really needed

  • Abigail’s faith was so strong she didn’t despair, no matter how unpleasant life was with her husband

  • Deborah had been given grace by God to act as His prophet, for the good of her people

  • Mary, the Blessed Mother’s “yes” to God—her fiat—changed everything. How else did her words and deeds influence Jesus, and vice-versa?

Is this your first time joining Walking with Purpose?

If so, we are offering the first study in this series called Opening Your Heart: The Starting Point.

This study explores the fundamental questions of our Catholic faith and our relationship with Jesus Christ. Join us as we examine the core questions that we need to wrestle with if we want to experience all that God has for us.

• How do I get my priorities in order?

• I’ve been going through the motions in my spiritual life—how does it relate to my day-to-day life?

• How do I get to know Christ in a personal way?

Classes are offered in McCallin Hall 1:
Wednesday, 8:30am-10:30am
or
Thursday, 7-9pm

2024 Study: Touching the Divine

Touching the Divine focuses on the many qualities of Jesus revealed through the Gospel of John. This study draws us into a deeper, loving relationship with Jesus as we reflect on His life and personality.

Saint John referred to himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” As we study, John will teach us how much Jesus loves us, and how His love is the true satisfaction of our souls. Knowing Christ more intimately, as John did, will touch your heart and fill you with hope!

Learn about Christ’s divine qualities:

  • Our source of fulfillment for all that we need

  • The ultimate gift giver

  • Our model of fidelity

  • Our redeemer and restorer
