 SACRAMENT PREPARATION
The process for your child preparing to receive
Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation and Reconciliation depends on the age of your child as well as previous sacraments and catechism they have received.
 
1st Communion:
Complete registration online for your child for 1st Communion class if they are in 2nd through 5th grade, baptized and have attended at least one year of CCE.
Please note that Parents are required to accompany their children to 6 sessions for 1st Reconciliation and 6 sessions for 1st Communion.
Classes take place during the CCE time that you choose.

                                                                   Confirmation:
Confirmation 1 for Baptized 9th – 11th graders who have also received their 1st Communion. Confirmation 2 for 10th–12th graders who have completed all requirements for Confirmation 1.

PLEASE NOTE: All Confirmation 2 students must be individually interviewed.
 Please sign them up for a Sunday interview starting July 30th by e-mailing kgiannini@stpaulcatholic.org

DISCOUNT FOR CATECHISTS: Parents who volunteer as a Catechist receive a discount. (If you are interested in receiving the Volunteer Discount or have more than 4 children who are enrolling please contact Sara Fontana at sfontana@stpaulcatholic.org or 281-957-7327.

FINANCIAL ASSITANCE: The pastor and parish recognizes their role as partnering with parents in the formation of each child. The parents’ role is to recognize the importance of forming their child in the faith and partner with the parish through funds and as Catechists to provide a great space for faith learning. Financial Assistance is available for families who have been enrolled in the parish for 6 months or longer.  Those who are in need of Financial Assistance will need to pick up a paper form from the Information Wall starting August 1.
