St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church
2021-2022 Faith Formation Initiatives
The Joy of Love experienced by
families is also the joy of the Church.
Pope Francis – The Joy of Love
Emmaus Family Faith
Formation:
All our 1st – 6th-grade families will be invited to attend one session a month. At least one parent is required to attend with their children, but both are highly encouraged to attend. The sessions will run two and a half hours, beginning with Mass, followed by a welcome and introduction to the theme for the month. Then we will split up into age-appropriate groups for a deeper dive into that topic. We will also break open our theme with each of our parents, providing skills to help support your families practically and in developing their faith at home. We will conclude back as a large group for a family activity/experience.
You will be able to register for one of six session times taking place each month. The six sessions will be divided between two Sundays a month and will be labeled Sunday A and Sunday B. You will only have to sign up for one timeslot. This time slot will remain the same each month and follow either the A or B schedule.
Schedule A Dates: Oct. 3 Nov. 14 Jan. 9 Feb. 13 Mar 6 April 3 | Session Times for Both A & B Monthly
Gatherings: 9:00am – 11:30AM 12:00PM – 2:30PM 4:00PM – 6:30PM | Schedule B Dates Oct. 17 Nov. 21 Jan. 23 Feb. 27 Mar 20 April 24 |
