Family Formation is a family-based catechetical program that
helps families to grow in the transforming love of God by understanding and
living the Catholic Faith.
Through weekly Home Lessons, Family Formation helps parents
pass on the Catholic Faith to their children and grow in faith and holiness.
This model enables parents to be “the primary educators in the Faith.” [General
Directory for Catechesis (GDC) 255]
Students in Grades K-8 meet in classes, divided by grade
level, where trained catechists present the lessons. Parents gather as a
separate group where they are catechized, encouraged, and equipped.
